TJMPO TO SELL MOTOMAN'S ROBOBAR ROBOTIC BARTENDING SOLUTIONS

Motoman Inc. is pleased to announce that it has signed an agreement with TJMPO Consultants Inc. (Quebec, Canada) making them sales agents for RoboBar, Motoman's complete robotic beverage service solutions. TJMPO is an international sales and marketing organization that has developed a global network, producing sales in the entertainment and amusement industries throughout North and South America and Europe in more than 100 countries worldwide.

"Motoman Inc. is a world leader in robotic automation, with robots in virtually every type of manufacturing industry. RoboBar is more of a service and entertainment robot product versus an industrial robotic product. This new business relationship with TJMPO will help us expand sales of our RoboBar products globally," said Ron Potter, Senior Director of Emerging Robot Markets for Motoman.

Motoman is "Pioneering Drinkmation" with several models of RoboBar robotic bartending and beverage dispensing solutions. The newest version is RoboBar HP (High-Production) model, designed for use in casinos and other high-volume service bar applications where waiters/waitresses deliver drinks to customers from a central service bar.

The bartender in RoboBar is a unique, dual-arm Motoman DA9IC robot with a compact NXC100 controller housed in its base. The two manipulator arms on this innovative robot each have five axes of motion, and the base also rotates to provide an eleventh axis of motion, allowing RoboBar to perform a wide range of operations quickly, accurately and efficiently.

Grippers on both robot arms handle beer bottles and present cups and glasses to the appropriate multi-ingredient cocktail dispensing gun or beer/wine tower for filling. Four cocktail dispensing guns can each dispense up to 16 different ingredients (64 total), including liquors, mixes, juices and wines - in any combination.

RoboBar is not only fast, it mixes each drink perfectly every time, eliminating lost revenues due to spillage and overpours. The number of drink recipes that can be programmed is virtually unlimited. The robot places multiple drinks onto a tray that shuttles in and out of the cell.

RoboBar can work 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Electric power to operate all RoboBar models costs only about 30 cents an hour, dramatically reducing labor costs for bartending.
